Монголын хүн амын ядуурал ба амьжиргааны байдал Standard of Living and poverty in Mongolia

Abstract

Монголын хүн амын ядуурал, түүний шалтгаан, өнөөгийн байдалд үнэлэлт дүгнэлт хийж, түүнийг бууруулах арга замын талаар өөрийн саналыг тусгасан. Мөн Монголын хүн амын амьжиргааны байдлын талаар танилцуулга хийлээ.

In 1995, 361.7 thousand families out of total 514.1 thousand in Mongolia were below poverty line. This paper attempt to study the trend in poverty during the period 1994-1995. The paper also discusses the concept used in defining the poverty. By using the data from family expenditure survey an analysis about the living conditions of the people have been also attempted. Based on the analysis of the paper some reorientation in the implementation of poverty alleviation program in Mongolia has been suggested.
