Abstract

Symbolized modernity, civilization, prize and pseudo-elites Generally on the basis of the thoughts of Hilmi Yavuz on Ottoman and Turkish modernization process and metonymic or symbolic mind and Pareto`s elite theory the author analyses Mongolian prize system as a way of creating Mongolian elites and expresses his points of view on Mongolian modernization and Mongolian symbolized pseudo- elites.
