Abstract

1. Mongolian traditional games have evolved with some new terms and patterns from a long way when the Buddhist expansion, Qing period, Socialist period and now globalizing world, but their content and rules of play have not changed.
2. Mongolian traditional games have changed the patterns used as 'symbolism' during our long historical and cultural relationship with India, China, Tibet, Manchuria and other oriental countries.
3. Some of Mongolian games facing challenges to stay alive and favorable with socialist period and now globalization and some of them will just stay as a memory that it was once a symbolic game.
