Loan words in Mongolian and Tuva

Abstract

This paper tries to find reason of influencing, origin and correlation of loanwords between Mongolian and Tuvan. It can be concluded that the changes in society, religion, state and culture influenced the origin of the phenomena of borrowing words from each other and consequently, borrowed words have inevitably made their ways to the everyday usage. The words taken as examples are from Mongolian-Tuvan vocabulary of 2,500 loanwords.
