Computer based study of Syllable Frequency of Mongolian

Abstract

In the scope of this study , we focused on the Mongolian letters and syllables frequency analysis. There are 11,123,714 syllables found in Corpus of Mongolian language which has more than 5 million words. Thus letter and syllable pattern frequencies are counted. 
In conclusion, we designed Mongolian simplified keyboard layout based on the frequency analysis of the Ngrams (one to three)
