Монгол дахь ажилгүйдлийн төлөв байдал, хандлага Levels and trends of unemployment in Mongolia

Abstract

Монгол дахь ажилгүйдлийн түвшин, чиг хандлага, шалтгаан, онцлог төлөв байдлын талаар бичиж түүнийг бууруулах замыг тодорхойлохыг хичээлээ. Мөн ажилгүйдэлд нөлөөлж буй нийгэм-эдийн засаг, хүн ам зүйн хүчин зүйлсийн нөлөөллийг тооцож, үнэлэлт дүгнэлт өглөө.

After the transition of Mongolia to market economy the levels of unemployment is on rise. Based on the data from SSO the paper has tried to study the trend of unemployment during the period 1991-1995. Analysis has been carried out by aimag, region, duration of unemployment, educational level of unemployed etc. The impact of demographic variables on the level of unemployment have been also examined. As unemployment is of recent phenomenon for Mongolia, suitable concepts and definitions have to be evolved to create sound data base for the study of unemployment in Mongolia.
