Analysis of myths of the wolf totem worship in the Altaic language family

Abstract

Totem myths related to wolf and she-wolf were created during the time of ancestors of the  Mongolians and Turks whose languages are included in the Altaic language family. These myths reflect the worship of wolf totem in the tribal society of ancient Altaic language family.
