Abstract

It is a widespread phenomenon that many people relate their ancestors with wolves in Mongolian, Turkish myths and fairy tales. However, the motif of events in ancestors’ myths are diverse, the core status of the Wolf Worship is invariable and become the culture, spirit symbols of these nations, even speard throughout the north area. The role of wolf appeard in Mongolian myths has a lot in common with which in Turkish myths. Their primary motifs and basic understanding are roughly similar and both of them focus on the blue sky which is the supreme faith of the Shaman.
