Abstract

Costume is one of wonderful creatures by humans. In the primitive times, people would put them to shelter their body from the sun, wind and cold. Then, they also managed to wear them with different purposes.
This article will tell about Mongolian traditional headdress, as a domain of Mongolian nomadic tribes’ totem was placedupon, that is to say, to be depicted. The bird was first displayed on rocks and their possessions, but subsequently on their headdress. According to this study regarding to the figures on headdresses, the Hunnus worshipped owl, the Turkic eagle, but the Mongolians falcon during the Great Mongol Empire.
