Ethical consideration in relation to scientific experiments and animal rights

This article discusses the experiment on animals and animal rights. People sometimes think that all animal experiments serve vital medical purposes and can be justified on the grounds that they relieve more suffering than they cause. But nor can all experiments be defended on the grounds that they relieve more suffering than they cause. But nor can all experiments be defended on the grounds that they relieve more suffering than they inflict. It would therefore be better to develop other methods of research that do not make anyone, animal or human, suffer.
