Some issues on transliterating Korean to Mongolian
Abstract
There are over 20 years of bilateral diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea. This period has witnessed a great increase of people learning Korean or Mongolian, as well as the release of numerous textbooks and dictionaries. However, what is requiring an urgent attention is that there is an absence of unified principle in transliteration between these two languages.
The comparative study of Korean-Mongolian letter writing is important for respective paitnership and relationship of these countries in many fields. The following is a short review for shortly marking Korean letters in the Mongolian language (Cyrillic).
