Abstract

Assembling and drawing examples from the abundant scholarly literature on shamanic ritual poems, we provide a bibliography and classification of shamanic calls according to shamanic oral poetry type, with appropriate examples, classificatory terms, and explanations of customary words and phrases for each poetic form.
