Abstract

This article deals with the word “маш” which is used to intensify the power of the phrase on basis of contemporary researches on its etymological, structural, semantic and cultural contents as well as usage examples from dialects of the Mongolian language, traditional legends and customs. Moreover, multiple meanings, collocations and phrases from documentary and literary texts and dictionaries are presented.
