The observation on the mraning and usage of word "zarakh"

Abstract

This article deals with the meaning and usage of a Mongolian verb ‘zarah’ . The basic meaning of the word ‘zarah’  has been analyzed from written monuments and the derived meanings of the verb have been examined in contemporary Mongolian. Defining the differences of usage of the verb ‘zarah’ in Inner Khalkha dialects, this paper is an attempt to explain it by the feature of a derived meaning of a single verb in Mongolian lexicology.
