Abstract

Today, in Mongolia, in connection with the fact that religious belief has been free since 1990s, it is not just an atheism, nor is Buddhism dominant, but there are world’s many religious sermons. Among the population in the western region of Mongolia, Buddhism, Shamanism and Islamic religions have been dominant, while the non-traditional ones, especially the world’s new religious sects are also operating. This study of ours is to assess and analyze the activities of religious organizations in the Western region, to estimate the consequences or outcomes of positive and negative impacts on the society, and to consider the right or proper legal environment to be created in the future.
