Abstract

Bayantsogt iron ore deposit is located in Eruu sown, Selenge province. Result was done based on research combined methods determination compared with researchers consideration composition of "Genesis and metalizing process of the Bayantsogt iron ore deposit”. Deposit metalizing process is related to exo skarn formed in contact of gabbrodiorite and microdiorite dyke cut shistous, calcareous sandstone, and other small ore bodies formed except 8 independent ore bodies. These are concerning paralell for place, 70-80° inclination to NW through 40-50° striked to NS vertical system. Skarn ore is divided in to 4 types including banded magnitite skarn, massive magnitite skarn, magnitite-pyrrotite-epidote skarn and magnitite-garnet-pyrite skarn by component of mineralization. Garnet skarn is formed near by intrusive and it has less component of magnitite-epidote. And magnitie-epidote skarn has more component of magnitite, epidote and sulphide, grain size is concerning big and stands massive. Viewing from formation of vein mineral, it is clearly shown from core sample that sulphide formated until completion of growth of the phase of quartz vein. It confirms that skarn minerals was formed connectly with late and above type of gabbrodiorite and microdiorite dyke observing from skarn minerals formed through previously pointed fracture of acidotic catalysed granite.
