Language endangerment issues from the point of view of language typology

Abstract

This article will consider endangered languages and their typology. The research will be focused on theoretical backround of languages in danger and endangered languages in all continents.  Theoretical part explains endangered languages, previous study of endangered languages, autochtonous, language shift, endangered languages catalogue, UNESCO’s Language Vitality and Endangerment framework, Causes of language endangerment, Why worry about language endangerment, Scale of intergenerational transmission, Scale of absolute number of speakers,  Speaker number trends and Scale of domains of use. The second part includes endangered languages issues, word order of endangered languages in all continents. Here we explain causes of endangerment in Australia, in Asia (East Asia, Southeast Asia, Near East and Central Asia, South Asia), in America (South and North America), In Africa, in Europe (Europe and Caucasus) and in Pacific. And so we will consider word order typology of the languages. At the end of the paper will be presented conclusion.
