When translating the content and plot of the original text into Mongolian, the translator Tumurkhuleg T. had taken into account the deep root meaning of the words, in addition to rationalization, in some cases, he had commonly used idioms with added and more powered meaning. Within the framework of this study, a selection of idioms in the translated version has been analyzed, and the meaning of those idioms has been compared to the context of the work and the words in the original text, and the translator's method and the characteristics and features of the translation have been determined. The translator Tumurkhuleg T., who had translated the original work written in the 16th century aligned to the living and relations of the western people, had brought the work to the minds of the Mongolian people of the 1990s through the reflection of the national mentality and cultural uniqueness by the use of idioms. In our study, a total number of 95 bachelor students from I-V levels, who chose to study the subject as a core and an elective class, participated. We focus on formants 1 and 2 of the /f/ phoneme, specifically examining intermediate students at the School of Arts and Sciences of the National University of Mongolia (NUM). We apply Bulgantamir S.'s theoretical framework for formant classification. The selection of words featuring the "f" phoneme is based on their contextual positions within the research parameters. Utilizing the spectrogram PRAAT method, our experimental phonetics research explores/f/ phoneme production among Mongolian students. We aimed to examine the associated issues. The new assessment method was implemented in two undergraduate lectures and one seminar spanning three semesters from 2021 to 2023. The students utilized rubrics to assess each other's assignments, including presentations, with their scores contributing to the overall evaluation. Upon comparing the students' evaluations with those of the teachers, we observed no significant differences in the majority of categories. This finding prompts further exploration to validate the efficacy of this assessment format in classes.</em></p> <p><em>Furthermore, an increase in students' levels of class participation and autonomy was noted, proving advantageous for cultivating learner-centered classes. However, it is more pivotal to learn what type of essay to write or what essay to include in the course content. Therefore, the author claims that four types of essays must be included in the curriculum of secondary schools and universities in this article. The electronic dictionary of world literary terms notes that there are 19 types of essays. Of these, it is appropriate to teach a Book report, Critical essay, Personal statement, and Narrative essay in high school and Argumentative essay in university. In particular, Argumentative essays should be the main task for social and humanities courses students in the university. Choosing the topic improperly is one of the main reasons why our students are unable to write good essays. Throughout history, humans have always been close to animals, and animals have an inseparable influence on human existence and development.</em></p> <p><em>Therefore, there are many animal names or expressions related to animals in people's language and idioms. In the case of Mongolia and China, because the lifestyles of their people are different, the expressions containing the names of livestock in the two languages have different meanings.
