Abstract

This article examines the classification of the principle of separation of powers, the characteristics and patterns of legislative, executive, and judicial powers, and their checks and balances based on the Constitutions of some foreign countries. This article, which discusses the classification of the principle of separation of powers and their solution in a country like ours with the Westminster model, where the political party that holds the majority in parliament holds the legislative and executive powers, may be of importance.
