About the Journal

Mongolian Anthropological Review (Монголын антропологийн тойм) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, interdisciplinary journal published by the Mongolian Anthropological Association and the National University of Mongolia, with emphasis on socio-cultural anthropology in Mongolia and surrounding regions. The journal also aims to promote area-based research institutes and studies, as well as academic collaboration. It serves as a Mongolia knowledge hub and database for researchers, practitioners and policymakers worldwide. It covers significant developments in the subfields of anthropology, including archaeological anthropology, biological anthropology, historical anthropology, linguistics and communicative practices, regional studies and international anthropology, and socio-cultural anthropology.
