Abstract

The media sector plays a crucial role in
ensuring gender equality by shaping public
opinion. As one of the four key agents of
socialization, the media is instrumental in
providing and reinforcing gender aware
ness while challenging traditional
stereotypes. This study examines gender
sensitive policies in journalism and the
media sector, assessing their impact. It
also highlights specific experiences from
gender-sensitive journalism projects imple
mented in Mongolia.
