Abstract

This article examines the impact of new information technologies and the Internet on the professional activities of journalists by the example of the media in Mongolia. Using the Internet and information technologies are rapidly being introduced into the activities of journalists and the media, becomes concrete factor. Increasing search and distribution to-pics, facts, information, increasing the degree of responsiveness and accessibility to the media. One result of this we can assume that Internet journalism is formed and becomes a specific phenomenon in the media in Mongo-lia. With the growing use of Internet and information technology, and journalists and ordinary citizens have to adapt to new trends in mass communications.
