Abstract

Multimedia had known as one of the key
aspect in digital reporting. Following study is
aiming to differentiate the multimedia
elements usage between world-leading
online news and local. Within the framework
of one week’s circulation. Study conducted
on 997 news. As a result of content analyzes:
local news’s video elements are 8.5 times
less than world-leading news in number and
duration. And vast majority of online news
from local sites have 2 times less body-text
than another. As a post-soviet country,
Mongolia has its own attribute in journalism.
