Commercial televisions have been
trying from the very beginning of its foundation
to develop in line with its distinctive genres and
vision. In due course, commercial televisions
have focused on only two types of products
which are news and movie, thereby
abandoning its vision due to its huge number
exceeding the market capacity and due to
being excessively worried about showing what
the audience wants to watch. Commercial
televisions are undergoing shortcomings in
quality of journalism products, operating not at
professional but rather at amateur level, and
copying products of overseas of other
domestic televisions. Thereby, social and
human values and ethical aspects which are
main criteria set in the frames of policy and
objectives of TV programs, are neglected.
