Abstract

In this article entitled “The role and
place of the MONTSAME news agency in
the development of journalism in
Mongolia,” the author draws attention to
the 100th anniversary of MONTSAME news agency, analyzes and evaluates its
activities. The author especially
emphasizes the fact that IA Monzame
replenishes the media system in Mongolia
as the first and only news agency in the
country. The article also highlights the
facts that IA Monzame has become the
standard of professionalism and ethics of
the country's journalists, and plays an
important role in non-political information
policy, publishing newspapers in English,
Russian, Chinese and Japanese.
