Abstract

In this review, the author aims to
assess T. Batzorig's monograph "Research on
Media Independence" and demonstrate its
achievements and shortcomings. Moreover,
the author discusses the practical importance
of media independence, which is one of the
important indicators of free press, and
critiques some of the conclusions and
recommendations made by the researcher.
The author concludes that this is the first work
on media independence and that it plays a
significant role in setting the foundation for
further in-depth study of this topic.
