One of the strongest media that has an
impact on social psychology is television. Due
to its extensive broadcasting of foreign cultural
materials, Mongolian cultural immunity is
under threat. The percentage of foreign
content in television broadcasting is still high
as a result of lax legislative regulation. As a
result, there is a strong cultural effect from
other nations on the manner of life, language,
culture, and thought of Mongolians. The
proportion of materials that discuss Mongolian
history, culture, tradition, and legacy is quite
low, and the current contents are not expertly
produced. The process of fostering cultural
immunity to young people's language, culture,
upbringing, manners, and distinctive national
features is negatively impacted by this
tendency. The fact that a significant portion of
youth-targeted content on television, radio,
cable channels, and internet media is
produced abroad has a significantly higher
impact for the negative result. Television
producers must consider the absolute high
demand for shows containing cultural
components. Mongolia must therefore
evaluate its television programming regula
tions and establish specific restrictions in
order to preserve our cultural distinctiveness.
It will protect Mongolia from foreign cultural
influence and serve as a sandbox for further
development of national content.
