Abstract

The National news agency of any
country performs the function of operatively
disseminating reliable information and news
about its country both within the country and
abroad through brochures, newspapers,
magazines, radio, television, electronic social
networks and public media. Also, the National
news agency is considered and recognized as
the official source of information of the given
country both within the country and abroad.
The organization, whose activities meet the
above requirements, in Mongolia is the
MONTSAME news agency. In other words, in
Mongolia, this function has been performed by
the MONTA agency or today's MONTSAME
news agency for more than 100 years since
March 18, 1921, when it published its first
news. This report contains new clarifications
of some information regarding the history of
the Mongolian National News Agency
MONTSAME at the beginning period of its
activity.
