Abstract

In this article, the author reviews
researcher B.Bolormaa's monograph
"Examining the Development of Local
Media" and analyzes the achievements and
shortcomings of this work. This book is a
major work published in recent years about
the local media in Mongolia, and is unique in
its attempt to provide an overview of the
historical development, changes and
reforms, and challenges of local media in the
country and to find solutions to address
those challenges. Therefore, the author
expresses his views and makes an
assessment in the context of the above
issues.
