Abstract

The Mongolian National Broadcaster (MNB) plays a central role in Mongolia’s media, offering nationwide and international news with professional production and public-interest content. Its strengths include wide coverage and official sources, while weaknesses involve state ownership and limited dissenting perspectives. In contrast, NM TV emphasizes state policy implementation and presents predominantly positive content. Although both share linguistic and cultural traditions, they differ in political orientation, objectives, and content style, providing audiences with distinct perspectives and varying informational diversity.
