Abstract

This study examines how Mongolia’s mid-term development policy, the “New Revitalization Policy,” and the activities of the Government - particularly those of Prime Minister L. Oyun-Erdene - are communicated to the public through the lens of political communication theory. The New Revitalization Policy aims to mitigate the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to support the effective implementation of the long-term development strategy, “Vision 2050,” by promoting recovery across six key sectors. Rather than assessing the policy’s implementation, performance, or outcomes, this research focuses on analyzing the forms and channels through which information related to the policy and the Prime Minister’s activities are conveyed to the public. The study seeks to interpret governmental communication strategies and public messaging within the theoretical and methodological framework of political communication.
