Abstract
In the paper the author tries to seek real possibilities how to expand
cooperation in some sectors between Mongolia and Uzbekistan. The People’s
Republic of Uzbekistan gained its independence from former Soviet Union in 1991.
It is a presidential rule state, rapidly developing and pursuing a policy of tradition
in combination with reforms in its political and economic relations. Moreover, it is
a nation with ancient sedentary civilization, history and Islamic religion and could
preserve its own language and tradition. As its experiences of development show,
Uzbekistan runs an intensive policy in a number of economic sectors as well as
develops active foreign relations in the region, on the basis of its national features.
Therefore, Mongolia needs to develop and further deepen relations with rapidly
developing Uzbekistan that occupies important stance in Central Asia, in my
opinion. Mongolia and Uzbekistan have wide opportunities to cooperate in many
sectors, sharing their experiences of development, as they are both landlocked
and developing countries with longstanding friendly relations and historical and
cultural heritages. In particular, on the basis of their shared values of ancient
ties and nomadic cultures, two countries are available to cooperate in the field of
tourism. Such cooperation could bring much benefits to both sides. Development
of tourism sector causes further relations in many other fields
