Abstract

The article aims to address the mechanism of adaptation practices forming within the community of Mongolian shuttle trade migrants engaged in trade activity in Buryatia. The adaptation of the Mongolian citizen engaged in trading manifests itself in the peculiarities of organization and functioning of the economic practices in the frontier zone. The achievement of psychological comfort in a culturally different environment is impossible without socio-cultural adaptation in the recipient society.
