About the Journal

Mongolian Journal of Anthropology, Archaeology and Ethnology is the official journal of the Department of Anthropology and Archaeology, School of Arts and Sciences, National University of Mongolia. The journal was published under the title “Archaeology, Anthropology, and Ethnology” in 2002 and 2003. Since 2005, it has been issued under the name “Mongolian Journal of Anthropology, Archaeology and Ethnology” with an ISSN number. The journal is available in both print and online versions and is hosted on the National University of Mongolia’s unified journal platform at https://journal.num.edu.mn/mjaae. This journal publishes one to two issues per year, featuring scientific articles and notes in the fields of archaeology, socio-cultural anthropology, and ethnology in Mongolian and English. To date, the journal has published its 14th issue, and since 2024, it has been issued biannually.
