Social relations and social capital in the elderly

Abstract

This article examines how social relationships and social capital affect the health and well-being of older adults. In the article, the theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of the role of social relations in the context of aging were considered, and the social relations and social capital of the elderly were determined in the context of our country. It is based on the results of the basic research "Social problems of the elderly" carried out in 2019-2022 by the Department of Sociology of the Institute of Philosophy of MAS.
