Abstract

The author critically analyses current condition of language study in Mongolia and mentioned a necessity of development of Sociology of language. The author brings an experience and examples of some foreign countries in term of language policy and considers of Mongolian legal environment of language study.  The author defines a possible subject matter and approaches of sociology of language and promotes its development
