Abstract

In the paper “Academic writing: general requirement, styles”, the author analyses current situation of Academic writing at NUM in general in School of Social sciences in particular and promotes idea of policy for standardizing of writing. The author introduces to readers a popular academic writing styles as APA- American Psychological Association, MLA- Modern Linguistic Association and Chicago Style of Academic writing. He analyses experience of universities in developed countries and suggests to approve several writing styles and to adhere to concrete style within one article to standardize writing at the school of social sciences, NUM.
