International experience of methodology for calculating the index of cities child-friendliness

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to study concept, theory, basic principles of the child friendly city, and comparing international experiences between their indicators. The theoretical framework of a child-friendly city is based on the idea that changes in city policy, planning and activity will lead to changes in the lives of children. In particular, the cities of underdeveloped and developing countries face a wide range of problems related to Children's Rights, safety and their environment.
