Censorship of new art in the public environment
Keywords:
television, social media, illustrate, beauty sideAbstract
In this article, we aim to determine how nude artwork can be distinguished from pornography to determine the difference in its meaning and to answer whether it is necessary to censor nude artwork in public spaces. Although in any society, there should be an age limit on the public display of nudes (television, social media, such as mass media), classical works of art are not intended to be obscene but to illustrate the perfect person and to make the observer who feels the beauty of nature. Thus, censorship of nude art shouldn't be approached from the social side (e.g., obscenity); it should be approached from the beauty side.
