Analysis for the current situation of school meal program

Abstract

This article explains legal regulations of the implementation of school lunch program, the current situation of funding of the meal program and the possibilities for its continuity based on the parent’s opinion conducted by Sociology and Social Word department of NUM in frame of specialization practice. 558 parents participated in the study and the research shows that cost for per student’s meal was not enough, parents do not hesitate to contribute some cash their children’s meal, however the current form and control needs to be improved. The article includes legal regulations, cost analysis and parent’s opinion.
