Abstract

The study "Mapping Citizens' Political Ideologies, Political Participation, and Awareness" was conducted by the research team of the National Center for Comprehensive Development, commissioned by the Parliamentary Research and Development Institute. This article presents a summary of the study’s key findings. Understanding the ideological orientations of political parties is essential for analyzing their core policies, values, goals, and approaches to societal issues. Extending this lens to citizens, the study explored political ideologies among the public through seven key dimensions—state organization, economy, social policy, human rights, family, and environment—along with 12 corresponding sub-dimensions. Using a set of evaluative questions, the research identified individuals’ political positions within these categories, offering insights into the broader ideological landscape and civic engagement trends.
