Abstract
Abstract: The semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral belt has a unique environment and livelihood. It occupies a large area in Inner Mongolia. Based on the actual situation and characteristics of the semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral area, it is of great significance to provide a poverty alleviation method adapted to local conditions. This article takes Majiazi Village, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia as an example to analyze the poverty situation and causes of poverty in semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral areas, and uses the theoretical methods of social work to guide social workers in poverty alleviation by enhancing the “independent development capability” of poor households. Providing accurate services and assistance for people, places, and categories brings positive effects to the targeted poverty alleviation work.
