Abstract

Abstract: Having increased coal mining into Mongolian society and economy, there will be grown cumulative impact of region’s socio-economic, political, and population due to mining. This study will explain the long and short term impacts on Baganuur coal mining and proposed result based opinions not only regional level but also eastern part of population. There are several factors are being influenced to do the study, included new extention of Baganuur coal mining, new electric power project and brick plant and the current water problems as well as luck of the hospital service etc. Study done by Center for Development Initiatives and Policy Studies joined with researchers from Sociology and Social Work Department of NUM in 2018.
