Abstract

As result of making comparative research on the suffering on the Buddhist psychology with some ideologies of E. Berne theory, I have made the below mentioned conclusions. Human desire is endless and it is clear fact that every desire is not fulfilled. So human sometimes feel suffering while their endless desire is on the boundary of fulfillment and not-fulfillment. It was clearly investigated by E. Berne in his theory of human nature, who is a famous representative of the neofreudism. The major ideology of this theory is “Id”, which causes various malice, evil and antagonism for human. In the Buddhist theory it is explained that the “Malice”, which causes suffering for human or “Evil” that causes antagonism for human, always lead to “Soul suffering”. As seen from it, the “Id” and “Malice” are similar or coherent in meaning.

In another words, I conclude that both of the theory on human nature by E. Berne and the Buddhist philosophy consider these ideologies (“Id”, “Malice”) same or coherent in meaning. Both of them cause soul suffering for human. With this research I studied the similarity or coherence of some meanings of eastern and western psychology in example of “Id” by E. Berne theory and “Malice” on the Buddhist philosophy. I think that the research on the definite understandings of eastern and western psychology will be helpful and beneficial to scientific study of some researchers and scientists. It also may contribute a little share for wide investigation of this thesis.
