Abstract

From the text of a prescriptive stele located at the Koguryo tomb complex, the author proposes to compare it with a Mongolian order panel having the same function. It appears that all riders, regardless of their status in society, should follow the same rule to approach the mansion of their sovereign, on a large area in East Asia.
