Abstract

The sources related to the history of Mongol-Manchu relations of the XVII xentury are mainly in mongol, manchu and chinese. There are many documents dated back to the 1620's to the initial stage of Mongol-Manchu relation development. The 43 mongol scripts related to the XVII xentury is publishing now. These publishing documents give new and valuable information and correct some misinterpretations in Mongolian historiography regarded to the initial stage of relations between Outer Khalkha princes, nobilities and Manchu, to the Manchu conquest of Inner Mongolia, to the Manchu evaluation of heirless Great Mongol State after death of Ligden Khaan in Shar steppe, to the doctrines and policies first regard to Manchu.
