Nowadays, Urbanization is intensifying around the world and in Mongolia. As a result, the role of urban areas in social and economic development is increasing, and the boundaries of urban influence are expanding. Mongolia's long-term and medium-term policy documents "Vision-2050" and "New Revival Policy" include measures such as supporting balanced regional development based on urban areas and developing provincial centers into independent cities. Urban areas should not compete with each other, but must develop together and join forces at the regional level. Furthermore the social and economic impact and gravitation cluster area surrounding Choibalsan city encompass a total of 34250 km² of six soums of province and a population of 58,000 and there is an opportunity to develop together in the region.
