It compares traditional and AI-based translation training systems, highlighting their advantages and disadvantages, and will be present the results of the study. Owing to significant advancements in AI, translation technologies have achieved unprecedented levels of precision and optimized efficiency. Traditional translation training has been constrained by its time-consuming nature, high costs of space, and operational expenses. Therefore, a transition to new translation methodologies has become imperative. Neural Machine Translation (NMT) Algorithm: Utilizes encode-decode mechanisms to convert the source text into the target language. This process enhances translation accuracy by processing data while retaining semantic meaning. Statistical Machine Translation (SMT) Algorithm: Processes translations based on statistical models, improving accuracy by selecting the most probable translations. The study's findings reveal that AI-based translation systems are 97% more accurate compared to traditional translation methods. Improvements in students' translation skills were evident from the quality of their translated texts, emphasizing the effectiveness of the new technology. Teachers’ satisfaction with AI-based training averaged 92%, further validating the system's effectiveness in academic settings. This marks the beginning of a new era in enhancing the learning process for translation students.
This research examines the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques and algorithms to improve and assess the quality of machine translation (MT) outputs, utilizing paraphrase and summarize model tools to enhance the results. In recent years, a multitude of studies have scrutinized the defaults and limitations of machine translation when compared to human translations, particularly within the realm of translation studies. These researches emphasize the efficiency of machine translation regarding time and cost, while also underscoring various quality-related issues. The significance of this research lies in its proposal to integrate paraphrasing and summarization techniques to elevate the quality and assessment of MT. AI models and algorithms, including GPT, Google Translate, Trados, DeepL, and Microsoft translation tools, have highlighted the necessity for a comprehensive evaluation of the quality discrepancies between machine-generated and human translations. Recent findings indicate that rather than outright rejecting or endorsing machine translation, it is essential to explore strategies for enhancing its accuracy. This article aims to advance translation quality and evaluation by incorporating paraphrasing and summarization tools. The integration of AI translation algorithms with MT systems has the potential to improve translation quality, optimize workflows, expedite results, and provide economic advantages in project execution. The results under this study indicate that the application of paraphrasing and summarization models can significantly enhance the quality of MT outputs, yielding more accurate and improved translations compared to original MT methods.
Today, students regularly use online dictionaries in internet access environments using their cell phones and mobile devices. Language is no longer viewed solely from a linguistic-structural perspective but also in terms of its pragmatic use, connecting it to everyday life needs. As a result, new methodologies and concepts have emerged in translation techniques and teaching approaches. Mastering a language generally requires developing four essential skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The goal of foreign language education is to help students acquire these skills in a balanced manner. However, in practice, it is often observed that university graduates specializing in foreign languages do not achieve sufficient proficiency in writing skills. When applying the knowledge acquired in their home country to real-life situations abroad, individuals frequently need to translate between their native language and the foreign language. This requires practical translation skills in both directions. Therefore, helping students reach a writing proficiency level that meets this demand is a key objective of the educational process.

AbstracIn this study, we examine how students’ official document writing skills in both their native and foreign languages can be improved by analyzing the content of translation courses in the Japanese language program at the University of Humanities.
This study aims to elucidate the utilization of addition techniques in literary translation and the underlying rationales driving their usage.
